We are excited to announce that we have received funding from Manchester’s Youth Play and Participation Service to deliver a series of workshops for young people in Openshaw.

The sessions will introduce them to media skills and build confidence through a variety of activities and projects both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.

Young people will be able to try their hand at presenting, directing, interviewing, stop-motion making, comic strip creating and much more.

Each session is open to 7-16 year olds and will take place at Manchester Settlement, The New Roundhouse (M11 1JG) starting Tuesday, January 16, 2023, and taking place every Tuesday thereafter until the last workshop on February 20, 2024.
