We were delighted to welcome Superintendent Caroline Hemingway into our online newsroom.

Caroline works for the Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Unit, who aim to reduce violence by addressing underlying causes.

We have partnered with the GMVRU to give young people in the region the chance to ask big questions to decision makers, learn more about their jobs and think about future careers.

Caroline said: “Our team joins forces to problem solve and think about how we can understand and prevent violence. I enjoy the variety, making a difference and making an impact on people’s lives in a positive way, making sure that we give people the best support.”
