Media Cubs mini reporters were invited by Manchester Literature Festival to watch a show that they have funded as part of a series of events this Autumn/Winter 2023.

Award-winning storyteller Danyah Miller brought best-selling children’s author Michael Morpurgo’s I Believe In Unicorns to life at Z-arts in Hulme, Manchester.

This intimate show is set in a library full of books that hold more than stories within their pages.

It is a tale of the power of books, and the bravery of eight year old Tomas. Tomas hates reading and school, but his world is turned upside down the day he meets the Unicorn Lady in his local library.

Everleigh and Lila enjoyed the show before interviewing other young people to capture their thoughts as well as sharing their reviews too.
